Biography
Balram Airan has completed his MBBS from AIIMS, New Delhi in 1975. Master of Surgery(CTVS), AIIMS, New Delhi in 1980. And he is Registrar at AIIMS, New Delhi in 1979-1981. Retired from AIIMS in Dec-2017. He is also a founder member of World Society for Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and fellow of IACTS,IACS and many more. He has published more than 200 research papers in peer reviewed national and international journals with significant impact factor currently, he is Chief Cardiovascular Sciences, Professor and Head of the Department of CTVS & Director Heart and Lung Transplant programme at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Mahatma Gandhi university of Medical Sciences and Technology at Jaipur, India.
